Inaugural community
fundraising event

We miss Nora. Terribly. In Nora’s short 6 years she left a massive mark on this earth, and in the lives and hearts of so many people.

Noras Family

Touch the Sky is a fundraising event to commemorate our special girl and raise much needed funds for the Child Cancer Foundation.

This fundraising event for 2021 will be our inaugural event, and will take inspiration from Nora’s guide book on how to have fun: family, a sense of adventure, colour and laughter. This will be a fun, Amazing Race style event, with participants completing challenges inspired by Nora, visiting some of Nora’s favourite places around Selwyn - and finishing with a colour dash in Foster Park.

Nora brought our community together in so many ways, and her not being here won't stop that legacy.

We want this event to represent Nora in every way. When you come along you will see Nora in every aspect of what we do. Some will be obvious, and some will be in the deeper parts of her story.

Nora brought our community together in so many ways, and her not being here won't stop that legacy.

All the proceeds from this event will go to the Child Cancer Foundation (CCF), who were integral in bringing support to the deeper parts of Nora's family's journey, a part that friends and family could not get to.

Striving to Touch the Sky - that's how Nora lived. She looked for the fun and adventure in her life. It served her well, and we will honour that.
